What I Did That Made God Deliver Me From A Demonic Anger Problem-Pastor Ibiyeomie Reveals To Members

In a recent Church Program on Wednesday, 6th May 2026, David Ibiyeomie, founder of Salvation Ministries, has opened up about his past struggle with severe anger issues, revealing how meditation on Bible scriptures completely transformed his character.

The popular preacher made the disclosure while speaking during a sermon on supernatural living, where he shared personal experiences about overcoming destructive habits through the Word of God.

According to Ibiyeomie, anger was once a major challenge in his life, adding that even the literal meaning of his former family name was connected to anger.

“I used to have an anger problem, very demonic anger,” he told the congregation. “The literal meaning of my former name was anger, and I used to be very angry.”

The cleric explained that he eventually realized the danger of uncontrolled anger after studying several scriptures that warned against it. He referenced biblical passages describing anger as dwelling “in the bosom of fools” and another warning against becoming angry before one’s time.

He also cited the story of Moses, noting that despite Moses’ meekness, anger cost him access to the Promised Land.

“Moses, with all his meekness, lost it because of anger,” he said. “I asked myself, ‘Do I want to die quick?’”

Ibiyeomie explained that he began meditating consistently on scriptures concerning anger until his mindset gradually changed.

“I just meditated on the scriptures. I asked myself, ‘Am I a fool?’ If I’m not a fool, then I can’t remain angry,” he stated.

The pastor humorously added that some people now mistake his calm nature for weakness because they never knew the kind of temper he once had before encountering transformational biblical teachings.

“Now if you do something, I just look at you. They say you are weak. I’m not weak. You better know where I was before,” he said jokingly.

According to him, the experience convinced him that the Word of God has the power to completely change a person’s behavior and character when applied consistently…See More
