Ogidi Was Crying, “I’ll Take You To Sapele, Nuhu Killed Him, Because Of His Crime In Sapele- Umukoro

Efemena Umukoro has blamed the Nigerian police for failing to act earlier against ASP Nuhu Usman, saying that past misconduct was ignored until it led to a tragic outcome. He spoke during an interview on News Central TV following a viral video showing a police officer shooting a restrained suspect in public.

According to Umukoro, the situation could have been avoided if authorities had addressed earlier allegations linked to Nuhu. He argued that allowing wrongdoing to go unchecked gave the officer the confidence to continue, eventually making him a serious threat.

Umukoro explained that the suspect, identified as Ogidi, was pleading and offering to lead officers to a location in Sapele. He believes this moment may have triggered the shooting, suggesting the officer acted to prevent further investigation that could expose past activities.

He also pointed out that Nuhu had previously worked in Jesse, an area close to Sapele, raising concerns about possible connections between his past assignments and the incident.

Police authorities have since confirmed that ASP Nuhu Usman has been arrested. Investigations are ongoing as the public awaits further updates on the case.

In his words, “Nuhu worked in Jesse, previously. Jesse has a close proximity to sapele.
