National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Jungunu Mohammed, has stated unequivocally that he does not recognize Adolphus Wabara as the current Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees.
In an interview with Arise News Television, he questioned the legality of Wabara’s alleged position as the PDP BoT Chairman.
Mohammed insisted that Senator Mao Ohuabunwa is the current Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees, not Adolphus Wabara, whom he described as being falsely presented in that role.
“I do not recognize Adolphus Wabara as the BoT Chairman of the PDP, we have Senator Mao Ohuabunwa.”
Moreover, he challenged the decision by the PDP Board of Trustees, led by Adolphus Wabara, to temporarily take over the leadership of the party.
The Wabara-led BoT had announced its move to assume alternative leadership of the PDP following the Supreme Court’s affirmation of the nullification of the party’s National Convention.
