Reactions have continued to trail a statement made by Monday Okphebolo, a supporter of the Edo State governor, who said members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) would be handed over to the police if found.
The remark appeared in a viral video shared on the official X account of Sahara Reporters on Friday, April 24, 2026. Okphebolo made the statement while standing beside the Edo State Commissioner of Police.
In the video circulating online, he declared that any ADC member caught by his group would be taken to the police authorities.
According to him:
“We are loyal to the Commissioner of Police. If we apprehend any ADC member, we will hand them over to him and they will be taken to Abuja.”
