I’m Here To Be Picked Up By DSS, EFCC, I’ve Conquered Fear, I Came Here With My Toothbrush–Melaye

Dino Melaye, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has strongly criticised the administration of Bola Tinubu, accusing it of poor financial management and lack of accountability.

Speaking during an interview on AIT News, Melaye expressed concern over the country’s growing debt, arguing that large sums have been borrowed without visible results. According to him, this trend could negatively affect future generations by placing heavy financial burdens on them.

He also raised issues about a controversial presidential pardon that reportedly included individuals linked to serious crimes such as narcotics offences. Although the government later reviewed the decision, Melaye suggested that the initial move showed poor judgment.

Melaye further described the current leadership as disconnected from the struggles of ordinary Nigerians. Despite the seriousness of his claims, he maintained that he is not afraid of any consequences that may come from speaking out.

He stated that he is prepared to face arrest by agencies like the DSS and EFCC if necessary, emphasizing that he has overcome fear. To show how serious he is, he mentioned being fully ready for detention, even bringing along personal items in case he is taken into custody.

Melaye concluded by saying that he and others are determined to fight for change in Nigeria, describing the situation as a critical moment that requires courage and persistence.
