Nigerian entrepreneur and influencer Queen Latifah has opened up about a deeply personal decision she made in her past, revealing how she kept a major procedure secret from her partner.
Speaking on The Honest Bunch Podcast, she shared the story behind her actions. In her words, “I lied to my boyfriend that I was going for vacation in Turkey, but I went to do a BBL.”
According to Latifah, she requested a significant amount of money, about 7,400 euros, from her boyfriend, claiming it was for a trip to Turkey. Given her location at the time, the explanation appeared believable, and he provided the funds without suspicion.
She explained that instead of a vacation, she used the opportunity to undergo the procedure. To avoid raising questions, she carefully planned her recovery period, spending time away until the visible signs had reduced.
Latifah noted that by the time she returned, most of the physical evidence had faded, making it easier to keep her secret. However, her partner eventually noticed changes in her appearance and questioned her.
Although she initially avoided giving a direct answer, she later admitted the truth when confronted.
