Mosab Hassan Yousef, an American author and former militant who defected to Israel, has made a strong statement about the role of Kurdish fighters in challenging the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In a post on his verified X account, Yousef explained that Kurdish resistance could cause more damage to the regime than any airstrike campaign. He pointed out that if Kurds reclaimed their land, Iran would lose a vital energy source, since nearly 80% of the country’s energy supply depends on a gas pipeline that runs through Kurdistan.
He further stressed that winning wars is not about revenge or economic calculations but about having the right vision, timing, leadership, morality, and a purpose rooted in justice.
His words,
“A handful of Kurd warriors can deliver a much greater blow to the Islamic Republic than all airstrikes combined. If Kurds take their land back, the Islamic republic will lose its lungs. (80% of Iranian energy depends on a gas pipeline coming from Kurdistan) Winning wars requires the right vision, good timing, leadership, morality, and a purpose driven by justice. NOT REVENGE and economical calculations.”……See More
