Reactions Trail Nasiru El-Rufai’s Comments After Writing To NSA Seeking For Clarifications

There have been several reactions from the general public and particularly social media users after Nasiru El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State and ADC Chieftain wrote to the national security adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu requesting for clarifications on the purchase of a harmful substance by his office. According to his statements, he pointed out that his action was born out of duty as a concerned citizen.

Many were left stunned after reports that the office of the national security adviser headed by Mallam Nuhu Ribadu purchased Thallium Sulphate, a dangerous substance went viral across various social media platforms.

The reports, which circulated on different media platforms, caught the attention of the former governor of Kaduna State and ADC Chieftain, Nasiru El-Rufai who in a recent statement, disclosed how he followed up the NSA’s action.

According to his statements, he pointed out that as part of his duty as citizen, he wrote to seek clarification about the importation by his office, thallium sulphate, a very harmful substance.

The ADC Chieftain, also disclosed that acquiring such substance in large quantities and more so an odourless and colourless one calls for urgent concerns.

“As part of my duty as a citizen, I wrote to the NSA to seek clarification on reports about the importation by his office of thallium sulphate, a very dangerous toxin. It’s a matter of concern if anyone brings in any poison, more so an odourless, colorless one.” He wrote.

However, the statements from the former Kaduna governor attracted mixed reactions, as many expressed bewilderment at the purchase of such harmful substance.
