2027:They Know They Can’t Win Free And Fair Election,They Brought Amupitan,It Won’t Happen-Nwaokobia

Political commentator and public affairs analyst, Dr Chris Nwaokobia, has raised fresh concerns over the state of Nigeria’s electoral system, accusing the ruling government of actions he believes could undermine the integrity of future elections.

Nwaokobia made the remarks during an interview on SYMFONI TV, where he spoke extensively about the country’s political climate and the growing debate surrounding transparency and fairness in the electoral process.

His comments come at a time when discussions about democratic accountability and institutional independence are gaining renewed attention across Nigeria.

During the interview, Nwaokobia expressed strong reservations about what he described as attempts to influence electoral outcomes. He suggested that certain decisions taken by those in power indicate a lack of confidence in securing victory through a free and credible voting process.

“Because they know that they cannot win free and fair election, they brought in Amupitan. But I tell you, that will not happen,” he said, in a pointed critique that has since generated reactions among political observers.

Although he did not provide detailed clarification regarding the reference to “Amupitan,” his remarks implied concerns about possible interference in institutional mechanisms that are expected to remain neutral.

His comments reflect a broader apprehension among some stakeholders who fear that political maneuvering could compromise the credibility of future polls.

Nwaokobia went on to stress the importance of protecting democratic values, warning that any perceived attempt to manipulate electoral systems could have far-reaching consequences. According to him, undermining the integrity of elections not only weakens public confidence but also poses risks to national stability.
