What I Always Do Many Years Ago Whenever I Wanted To Pray For My Congregation -Adeboye

In a recent video on YouTube, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has shared insights into how the expansion of his ministry has transformed the way he ministers to congregants, highlighting a shift from physical interaction to what he described as divinely inspired declarations.

Speaking during a recent gathering, Adeboye recalled the early days of his ministry when attendance was small enough to allow personal engagement with every worshipper.

“There was a time when we were few. At that time I could lay hands on everybody,” he said, reflecting on a period when direct contact formed a central part of his approach to prayer and healing.

However, as the congregation grew significantly over time, he noted that such a method became impractical. According to him, this growth prompted a transition in how he operates spiritually.

“God knows that a time like this will come when it will be impossible for me to lay hands on everybody. So He moved me a little bit higher… He will just tell me, ‘There’s somebody in that corner… tell the fellow that the problem is over,’” Adeboye explained.

He emphasized that this shift has not diminished the impact of his ministry, but rather introduced a different dimension through which people receive what they believe to be divine intervention.

Adeboye added that many testimonies now come from individuals who respond to spoken words during services, even without direct physical contact.

“They heard a word, they knew it is their own, and they grabbed it… and now they have come to tell everybody God is faithful,” he said.

The cleric’s remarks highlight how large religious movements often adapt their practices as they expand, balancing traditional forms of worship with evolving methods of engagement….See More
