Nigerian popular Nollywood actress, Uche Jombo has taken to her official X account on Monday, November 24, 2025 to react to viral video of Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi explaining the difference between herdsmen and IPOB members.
The video surfaced online amid the insecurity that is being experienced in some parts of the country.
In the video that surfaced online, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi said that;
“IPOB is attacking the police, attacking the army, attacking INEC, government institutions, killing our men in service. The Herdsmen are kidnapping children, not to kill them but to make money. How can you compare these two?”.
Reacting, the Nollywood actress stated that when she saw the video, she thought it was AI generated. She asked if the country is real.
According to Uche Jombo on her official X account;
“That 2021 interview with Sheikh Ahmad Gumi on Arise TV, where he compared bandits and herdsmen to IPOB stating that herdsmen kidnap children for ransom and not to kill. I watched it and thought it was AI generated. Is this country real?”.
