Sheikh Gumi Speaks On Differences In Muslim And Christian Societies, Says Christians Enjoy Freedom

Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, a popular Islamic scholar and former military captain has spoken out in strong terms regarding the amount of freedom enjoyed, especially by women in Muslim and Christian societies. According to the statements which were shared on his official Facebook page, he pointed out that Christians enjoy more freedom.

Amid the tension and heated arguments that trailed the ongoing conflict between the United States and Iran, Sheikh Gumi, a renowned Islamic scholar has put up an impressive argument regarding religious battles.

According to the statements which were shared on his official Facebook page on Monday March 16th 2026, the former military captain disclosed that Muslim societies allow more freedom to foreigners, especially Christians.

It can be recalled that arguments that Christians were not given the needed freedom to practice their faith in Muslim dominated countries had been rift on the public domain, however, Ahmad Gumi believed the argument was incorrect.

Muslims, especially women, according to Sheikh Gumi were made to endure restrictions in Christian dominated countries. However, he further argued that this was not the same in Muslim dominated countries as Christians were allowed to interact freely.
