Shehu Sani, a respected human rights activist and former Kaduna central senatorial district lawmaker has taken to his official X handle to react after the new Military leader of Madagascar confronted one of the pressing issues of the nation. According to the statements and the accompanied video which were shared on his official X handle, the problem was disclosed.
The global community was left stunned after a military intervention led to the overthrow of Madagascar’s democratic government, with Major General Michael Randrianirina taking over the helms of affairs.
However, few days after assuming office, the military leader hit the ground running as he went abroad tackling the pressing issues in the country, as disclosed by Senator Shehu Sani, a former Nigerian federal lawmaker.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle on Friday October 23rd 2025, the former Kaduna central senatorial district lawmaker disclosed that the new military leader directly confronted the nation’s electricity challenges.
From the video which accompanied his statements, General Michael Randrianirina can be seen visiting a power plant in Madagascar. The commentary stated that electricity had been of the major problems that led to the uprising.
In his remarks, General Michael Randrianirina assured the mammoth crowd that gathered to listen to him that he will do everything within his power to ensure that epileptic power supply was a thing of the past.
“Madagascar’s new military leader directly confronts the nation’s electricity challenges..” Shehu Sani wrote.
