One of the chieftains of the All Progressive Congress, APC and former Kaduna lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted after the governor of Kaduna state Uba Sani visited the resident where some worshippers were kidnapped.
The reaction of Senator Shehu Sani was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Thursday, January 22, 2026.
This is coming after VANGUARD reported that over 100 worshippers were kidnapped in the Kajuru Local Govenment Area of Kaduna state. The former Kaduna lawmaker reacted after Uba Sani announced that he has visited the LGA where the incident happened.
Here is what Uba Sani wrote on his official X handle;
“I addressed residents who gathered in large numbers, not only to welcome us, but to express collective grief, fear and hope. I also met victims who sustained injuries during the attack and assured them that the Kaduna state government will provide full medical care and continued support as they recover”.
However, Senator Shehu Sani has now shared his thoughts after the post surfaced online. In a statement that he shared on his official X handle, he said he is very sure that those who were kidnapped will be rescued.
Here is what Shehu Sani wrote on his official X handle;
“I’m confident that with the efforts put in place by the security agencies, Kaduna state government and the communities, freedom for the Kaduna kidnapped victims would be secured. Despite this unfortunate incident, thousands of schools, worship centres and communities across the state have been well protected in the last two years”.
