Abayomi Arabambi, during an interview on Arise News on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, argued that Peter Obi should not be presented with any presidential nomination form, insisting that there were serious reasons behind his position.
Arabambi stated that his call was based on concerns he intended to explain, maintaining that his appeal for Obi’s withdrawal was not made without justification. His remarks have added to the ongoing political debate surrounding the selection of candidates ahead of the next presidential election.
