In an interview on Sahara TV, Adeniyi said her mother sent her a message at about 6:18 pm on August 2, 2026, informing her that some people were trying to force their way into her room. She said that was the last message she received from her mother

Adeniyi said her mother had moved to the guest house for safety after an attempt was made to abduct her at home. She added that the hotel receptionist told her the people who abducted her mom had no uniforms on

In Adeniyi’s words: “Around 6:18 pm my mom sent me a message, she said certain persons were trying to forcefully enter her room and that was the last message from her. So I called and kept on calling her phone to just get an update
