Olayinka Reacts As Rufai Asked How Many Times A Foreign Leader Visits Africa For Medical Attention

Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the former governor of Rivers State and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike has taken to his official X handle to react after popular AriseTv anchor Oseni Rufai asked how many times a foreign leader visits Africa for medical attention. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he drew his attention to his own offences.

Following the reported travel of Finance Minister, Wale Edun to an undisclosed foreign country for medical attention, a lot of mixed reactions were generated as many believed the incessant travels of African leaders to foreign countries for medical attention called for urgent attention.

However, popular AriseTv anchor and renowned journalist, Oseni Rufai stirred fresh controversies after he asked how many times foreign leaders reciprocated the visits. His questions, which caught public attention, pricked the interest of Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser to FCT minister, Wike.

According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he accused the anchor of being culpable of several offences which included the infamous altercation with security operatives after being caught violating traffic rules.

“How many times have you seen a foreign leader come to Africa for medical treatment?” Oseni Rufai asked.

How many times have you seen people in civilized countries threatening to call the governor when they commit traffic offences?” Lere Olayinka fiercely replied.
