Ghanaian cleric Ebo Noah, who recently went viral after building an ark-like structure, has urged the public not to panic, saying his message was not an instruction for people to travel or gather.
Speaking in an interview on News Central TV, Noah addressed the reactions that followed the circulation of videos showing the structure. The footage triggered widespread speculation on social media, with some interpreting it as a warning of an imminent disaster.
Noah said he did not ask anyone to move to any location or make any form of payment. He stated that the ark was not connected to ticket sales, fundraising, or donations, and that no one was required to take any action beyond normal daily life.
The viral incident drew attention across Ghana and beyond, as discussions spread online around prophecy, faith, and public reaction to religious messages. The episode also highlighted how quickly religious claims can escalate once they gain traction on social media.
Noah maintained that his message was intended as a spiritual call rather than a physical directive, adding that people should remain calm and go about their activities.
He said, “God has given us some time to build more arks in addition to the ten that will contain all of us. Tomorrow, nobody should rush to any location. I am not selling tickets, and I am not taking money from anyone. Please stay home, enjoy yourself, have fun, and I wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Still, the ark is there. Repent. Repent. Repent. God bless you.”
