According to a report by Times Of Israel on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, An investigation has been opened into audio leaks involving Zev Agmon, a senior aide to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as the controversy lands at a sensitive moment for the Israeli leader. Agmon had served in several roles in Netanyahu’s office, including acting chief of staff, official spokesperson, and one of his last remaining advisers after repeated disputes within the prime minister’s circle.

The leaked remarks, which circulated this week, include harsh criticism of Netanyahu and several public figures. In one recording, Agmon said after October 7 “Netanyahu is finished. The question is whether the State of Israel will remain or not after today?! Netanyahu must go home. It’s a collapsing state.”

In another alleged leak, he claimed “The Egyptians must release the recordings they have showing Netanyahu was warned before October 7 about something major happening. Likud has ended his career. They must publish the calls, and that will be his end!”

He was also recorded saying, “Netanyahu lives to slaughter!”

Other remarks reportedly included insults directed at Moroccan Israelis and members of the Knesset. Agmon is said to have mocked lawmakers, saying “Tori is a baboon, Revivo is a backward Moroccan, Eli Dalal is worthless—who would even know them? Who elected them? What a bunch of monkeys.”

In another message after the elections, he allegedly said Likud should issue an announcement seeking “rapists and murderers” for its Knesset list, adding that the party already had “a thief, a robber, and a kidnapper.”

He also mocked Netanyahu’s wife and son, and said “The stupid female Knesset members understand that only flattery works with him.”
