Ndume: I’m So Worried These Days That Even The Morale Of Our Soldiers Have Started Waning

Senator Ali Ndume, during an interview on Arise News on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, expressed deep concern over the current state of Nigeria’s military, particularly focusing on the declining morale among soldiers.

Speaking candidly, the senator noted that the dedication and sacrifices of Nigerian troops are no longer being matched with the level of appreciation and recognition they deserve. According to him, this growing disconnect is beginning to take a toll on the mindset and motivation of those actively serving on the front lines.
