Former presidential aide to former President Muhammadu Buhari, Lauretta Onochie, has reacted to a resurfaced statement made by President Tinubu during the build-up to the 2015 presidential election.
Her reaction was contained in a post she shared on her official X handle on Sunday, February 22, 2026.
In the resurfaced video, President Tinubu was addressing a group of prominent party members. He asked:
“When you know you can win, will you fight and destroy the vote?”
Lauretta Onochie reacted to the video in her post, stating that the ruling party is now in panic because they know they are losing ground.
In her statement, she said:
“This was 2014/2015. This is why they are now jittery. They know they are gone.”
