Nigerian author and Nobel laureate prize winner, Professor Wole Soyinka has stated that it is time for him to write about the President of the United State of America, Donald Trump.
This statement was contained in a report that was published on the official X handle of THE CABLE on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
This is coming after the US government revoked the visa of Wole Soyinka. According to report, the Nobel Laureate prize winner said the United State government has revoked his non-immigrant visa that was issued last year and he has been instructed to re apply if he wishes to visit the U.S.
In the report that surfaced online, Wole Soyinka said he has written many plays about Idi Amin and now is the time for him to write about Donald Trump so he can restore his visa.
Here is what Wole Soyinka said according to The Cable;
“I have written a lot of plays about Idi Amin. Maybe it is about time I also write about Donald Trump maybe he would reconsider and restore my visa”.
