Ehud Barak, former Prime Minister of Israel, has supported the creation of state police in Nigeria
Speaking in a video shared by Arise TV, Barak said Israel has about 10 million people so it is about 20 times smaller than Nigeria in terms of population size. He stated that Israel is also about 40 times smaller than Nigeria in terms of land area and the entire country is the size of an average Nigerian state.
Barak said Israel operates a centrally controlled policing system because the country is small. He stated that he strongly believes creating state police for a big country like Nigeria is a good idea and a step in the right direction.
