Retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg spoke about the possibility of a second round of peace negotiations aimed at ending the conflict with Iran, while also addressing the consequences of the U.S. blockade of the Strait of Hormuz during an appearance on Jesse Watters Primetime.

In the interview aired by Fox News, Kellogg outlined the growing tension between Washington and Tehran, emphasizing that the situation has evolved into a test of determination between both sides. He pointed to the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz, noting that the U.S. blockade is placing increasing pressure on Iran’s economic and military capabilities, particularly given the waterway’s role in global oil shipments.

Kellogg suggested that the United States is leveraging both military strength and economic measures to push Iran toward negotiations, while maintaining a firm stance against what he described as destabilizing actions in the region. He indicated that the pressure campaign could eventually force Tehran to reconsider its position and return to talks under more constrained conditions.

He said, “We’re now in a war of wills. I would not bet against the President of the United States at all. I would bet against the Supreme Leader. They have never come up against a guy like this with President Trump. I think we’re almost to a point that we’re going to create problems for them that they cannot solve.”
