Senior Iranian official and political analyst Seyed Mohammad Marandi has declared that Iran is fully prepared for both an immediate military escalation and a prolonged war against the United States, warning that a drawn-out conflict will ultimately devastate American power from within.
Writing on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account, Marandi delivered a stark message regarding the growing geopolitical tensions, asserting that time is not on Washington’s side. According to the Tehran-based academic, extended confrontation serves to weaken the United States on multiple fronts rather than posture Iran into a corner.
