Popular Nollywood actress Yemisi Adenekan, also known as Iya Tinko, has revealed how her marriage with her ex-husband, who was disabled, ended, while also stating why she regretted her decision not to listen to her mom’s advice about her marriage to the disabled man.
According to the video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Jeff Owolewa TV during an interview, she disclosed that her mother warned her not to marry the disabled man that she was in a relationship with, but that she didn’t listen to her mom’s advice, and she later regretted her action.
According to Iya Tinko, she said, “My ex-husband didn’t break up with me because of my profession, his mother was the one who caused our break up. My mom warned me not to marry a disabled man, but I ignored my mom’s advice. I once had an accident, and the doctor said my legs would be amputated, but I later found a solution, and my legs weren’t amputated. I insisted on marrying the disabled man because I thought, what if my legs were also amputated? I married a disabled man out of pity, I had 3 kids for him, but I regretted marrying him. His mother didn’t allow us to have peace in the marriage, and we had to break up with each other.
