Denrele Edun, an actor, has stated that the death of the popular musician Goldie was a very painful experience for him because she was his good friend
In a video shared by TVC, Edun said this year makes it 13 years since Goldie died in 2013. He stated that what hurt him most was the way people accused him after her death. He said some people claimed he had a hand in her death and even accused him of giving her drugs.
Edun said he was present at the mortuary and personally dressed her corpse by 6 a.m. He stated that while he was there, strange things happened, including the lights going off.
Edun said the mortician mortician asked him to speak to her dead body and identify himself. He stated that he did as he was told and her face, which looked angry, became calm.
In Edun’s words: “I’m not going to lie to you, I dressed her corpse up. The corpse was angry, everything in the mortuary went off that day. The light went off, the generator broke down. The mortician told me, ‘Just talk to her corpse, tell her it’s you’. I came and talked then the corpse calmed down. Her face which was angry calmed down. Spiritual things happen. I was there at 6 a.m, dressing her dead body up.
