In an emotional interview, a Nollywood actor, Alhaji Ade Aderele, has opened up about his life journey—his childhood, his struggles. He also spoke about how he what is younger brother sleeping with his wife.

When he was asked during the interview the experience he has had with women that do make him cry silently, he said, “If you were the one, what would be your decision? You got married and you have a younger brother, you were the one who sent him to school and paid for his apprenticeship, and he is living with you — then you get married and go to your place of work. By the time you come back, your neighbours are telling you that they are suspecting your wife is cheating. Then you heard and waved it off as something without evidence.

“Then one day, you should travel and come back unexpectedly, then you should not meet your wife on the laps of your younger brother, what would be your reaction?

“The decision I took after — you might not be able to take the same decision if you were the one. After the incident, I went to her father’s house, and I took her along. I asked if there was anything she needed, that I never provided or if I was making her suffer, she said no. I took her Mecca, and also London, and while I was saying this in her father’s presence, she was crying.

“Then I accepted her in my house again, not knowing she would still do the same thing, and they would both do worst. That boy as well that I was supposed to send away, I didn’t. This boy had a friend that sold meat. They connived and went to bury a powerful ring inside pawpaw. So that, by the time the boy touches me with the ring the next day, I will become a leper. The day they went to go take the ring to use on me, it fell on them, and the both of them became lepers.
