Gbajabiamila Told Abejide ‘Fight & Destroy ADC, We’ll Support You’; It’s Tinubu Speaking—Ologbodiyan

Former PDP National Publicity Secretary Kola Ologbodiyan, speaking on Symfoni TV, addressed remarks attributed to Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, regarding the opposition party ADC.

According to Ologbodiyan, Gbajabiamila publicly urged a certain Abejide to remain within the ADC, directing him to fight and destabilize the party from within, while promising government support for doing so.

Ologbodiyan explained that in Nigeria’s political and constitutional framework, appointed officials do not speak for themselves. Their words and actions are legally and politically attributed to the president who appointed them.

Therefore, he argued, any statement made by Gbajabiamila in his official capacity directly reflects the position and intentions of President Tinubu himself.

In his words, “Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to Mr. President, is the face of the president. He came out in public and said, ‘Look, Abejide, we don’t want you to leave that party (ADC). Stay in there, fight them, scatter them, and we will support you.’ Who is saying that?
