Fani-Kayode Reacts After He Saw An Advert On Newspaper Where Arewa Youth Told Adedeji To Step Down

One of the chieftains of the All Progressive Congress, APC and former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted after he saw a newspaper advert in which members of the Arewa Conservative Youth Movement asked the Chairman of Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, Zach Adedeji to step down.

The reaction of Femi Fani-Kayode was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Sunday, December 7, 2025.

In the post that he shared on his page, he said the Arewa Conservative Youth Movement told the FIRS Chairman to step aside over unconstitutional activities.

Fani-Kayode said asking Zach Adedeji to step aside from his role is absurd. He urged the FIRS Chairman to stay focused and not get distracted by the activities of the group.

He commended the Federal Government for some of the reforms that have been introduced in the tax sector.

“Meanwhile I urge Zach and his team to remain focused and to carry on the great work they are doing.

“They should count it as joy and know that those that throw stones only do so at trees that have good fruits in them”.
