In a video shared by Symfoni TV, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Kenneth Okonkwo, has taken a swipe at the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) over the worsening insecurity in Nigeria.
Okonkwo recalled how late former President Muhammadu Buhari and the current President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, once led a delegation to the United States during the administration of former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to report Nigeria’s security challenges to the American government.
The ADC stalwart said the current cries of the APC-led government over opposition criticisms are ironic, given their own past actions.
He stated, “Buhari and Bola Ahmed Tinubu, they led a delegate to America to report insecurity of Nigeria to America during the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s regime. Can’t you see karma? And now they are screaming opposition. Opposition what?”
Kenneth Okonkwo, who was once a spokesperson for the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council in the 2023 elections before defecting to the ADC, has remained an outspoken critic of the APC government.
