Atiku Abubakar Reacts To Tinubu’s Slip At Democracy Day Event

Former Vice President and 2023 presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has expressed his sympathy towards President Bola Tinubu following a minor slip at the Democracy Day celebration in Abuja. The incident took place at Eagles Square as President Tinubu was about to board a parade vehicle.

In a statement shared on his social media handle, Atiku conveyed his concern, stating, “I sincerely sympathise with President Bola Tinubu, @officialABAT, over this unfortunate incident as he was set to review the parade on Democracy Day. I do hope that all is well with him.”

Despite the momentary misstep, President Tinubu quickly regained his balance and continued with the ceremonial proceedings. Dada Olusegun, the Special Adviser to the President on Social Media, reassured the public by describing the incident as a “mild misstep” and confirmed that the President carried on with the day’s events without any issues.
