Former minister for Aviation and Chieftain of the APC, Femi Fani-Kayode stirred fresh controversies by making a striking comment regarding the chances of the opposition ahead of the 2027 presidential elections. According to his statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that a mighty tsunami awaits those that seek to remove president Tinubu from office.
The 2027 presidential elections which is widely expected to be a turning point in the history of Nigeria given the recent monument gained by the opposition, especially the ADC coalition has been described as a no-go-area by former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle on Wednesday September 18th 2025, he made a remarkable comment that sparked public debate, as many believed the current administration had performed below par, and hence, a change was needed.
In his remarks which had garnered widespread traction across various social media platforms and had generated mixed reactions, he pointed out that a mighty tsunami awaited those whose primary aim was to remove president Tinubu from office.
He further pointed out that they will be blown away by the wind if destruction as according to him, the president will reach his full manifestation by 2031.

“…..A massive tsunami awaits those that seek to remove BAT from office in 2027. They will be blown away by the east wind of destruction and their lofty dreams and vain ambitions shall melt away like an iceberg approaching the tropics …..”
