In The Next 3 To 4 Weeks, Nigerians Will Know That Kano Will Still Be Won By NNPP In 2027′ -Johnson

The National Publicity Secretary of the NNPP, Ladipo Johnson, has alleged that the party under Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s leadership will defeat Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, who has reportedly defected to the APC, in the 2027 Kano State election.

Speaking during an interview with Channels TV, Johnson expressed confidence in the party’s ability to replicate its 2023 electoral success. “We’ve already started moving on, because you have to remember that this has happened before. It happened with Abdullahi Ganduje. And in 2023, we came to win Kano, having moved to the NNPP just in 2022. Within a year, we won Kano from bottom to up. We had no councilor, no chairmanship, and we won it. And I assure you that within the next three to four weeks when Nigerians see the alliances and the work that the national leadership of the NNPP have put together, Nigerians will know that Kano State will still be won by the NNPP, in 2027,” he said.

The party spokesperson dismissed rumors about Kwankwaso defecting to the APC, alleging they were planted by those planning to leave the party. “People have been saying that, oh, he went to the villa, they met, they did this. These are stories that have been sponsored by people who had the agenda to go to the APC,” he stated.
