According to recent report from BBC Sports on 13th January, 2026, Moroccan coach Walid Regragui speaks again in his recent press conference ahead of their upcoming African Cup of Nations semifinal game against Nigeria on Wednesday by 9pm West African time, bragging again that his squad is already prepared to win the Super Eagles tomorrow.
Walid Regragui reveals that apart from having many skillful and experienced players, the advantage will have over Nigeria is massive home support.
He spoke boldly ahead of the highly anticipated 2025 Africa Cup of Nations semifinal clash against Nigeria, revealing what he believes is another great advantage the host nation holds over the Super Eagles.
Walid stated that the Super Eagles will be dominated with massive home support in the clash which is a great advantage already and there will be no room for any unnecessary mistakes from players that will cost them their victory tomorrow.
The Moroccan tactician reiterated that Morocco is not coming out tomorrow to return with a loss, but already focused on victory and to proceed to the final game against Egypt or Senegal.
He said ” for us, playing at home at this stage is a great advantage to us. With our roaring home fans driving the team forward, we will win Nigeria. I believe that the atmosphere our supporters will create while cheering up the players, can disorganise Nigeria no matter how prepared they will be. That alone is a good advantage we have to win the match tomorrow night.
