Paul Ibe, the senior special adviser on media to ADC coalition Chieftain and former vice president, Atiku Abubakar has taken to his official X handle to react after small business owners in the FCT were notified that fees will be paid for noise pollution. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the policy was disheartening.
Many were left stunned after the reports that small business owners operating in the federal capital territory, Abuja will be charged for noise pollution from generators went viral across various social media platforms.
The reports, which circulated on different social media platforms was widely condemned as many believed the policy was disheartening amid the controversies that trailed the recent tax reforms.
Reacting, Paul Ibe, the senior special adviser on media to ADC Chieftain, Atiku Abubakar in a recent statement which was shared on his official X handle, pointed out that the policy was satanic and anti-people.
He further pointed out that charging small business owners over noise pollution from generators was an act of wickedness from a regime that was unable to provide the basic needs of the people.
The comments from the special adviser which resonated with many, underscores the need to prioritize the welfare of the people amid the growing concerns of economic instability.
“Tinubu’s anti-people agenda has reached satanic proportions. This is a notification from the FCTA and pasted in front of a small business office…. informing business owners that they will be charging generator noise pollution fee….” He wrote.
