In a recent video on Facebook, Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a strong warning to the government of Benin Republic, stating that the nation is on the brink of intensified terrorist and bandit activities if urgent security reforms are not implemented.
Speaking during a prophetic session, Ayodele claimed that the country’s armed forces are dissatisfied, a situation he said would worsen national security challenges. “Your military are angry,” he declared, suggesting that internal grievances within the security structure would create loopholes exploited by criminal groups.
Ayodele cautioned that the current wave of insecurity in Benin Republic is only a fraction of what may unfold if steps are not taken immediately to address rising tension. “That is one of the reasons terrorists will continue to terrorize Benin Republic,” he warned. He further stressed that the nation has not yet experienced the full scale of terrorism it could face, stating, “They have not seen any terrorism yet.”
According to the cleric, the activities of bandits and kidnappers are also expected to rise sharply should government authorities fail to take decisive action. “Bandit, kidnappers will increase if they don’t try,” he cautioned, urging leaders to prioritize security restructuring and morale-boosting among security operatives.
Ayodele emphasized that his message was divinely inspired, adding that listeners were free to accept or reject it. “You can get angry, but that is the message of the Lord. Take it or you leave it,” he said. “Throw it anywhere, that is your business… your business and your headache.”
Despite his stern warnings, the cleric concluded with a prayer, expressing goodwill toward the people and leadership of Benin Republic. “God will bless you all,” he said.
