Nigerian disc jockey Kudirat Gbemisola Salami, also known as DJ Kulet, has revealed some of the things that she went through when she was struggling to sponsor her own education, while also stating the amount of money she used to receive from men she was in relationships with.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Wasilacoded TV during an interactive session, she lamented that the men she was in relationships with only used to pay her from five thousand Naira to ten thousand Naira at the time, saying that the money wasn’t enough to buy textbooks for herself at the time.
In her statement, she said, “I was working as a disc jockey, and I didn’t have any alternative source of income to sponsor myself to school. The men I used to have sex with only paid me from 5000 Naira to 10000 Naira. The money wasn’t enough to buy my textbooks and my tuition fees.
