On Verdict Day For Bode’ Corruption Case He Gave His People Uniforms To Dance But Got Convicted—Wike

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has spoken about a corruption case against Bode George, a chieftain of the PDP, at the Lagos State High Court.

Speaking in a video shared by NTA, Wike said that on the day judgment was to be delivered, Bode George had already provided matching outfits for his supporters. He stated that the supporters wore the uniforms and were celebrating before the court announced its decision.

Wike questioned why anyone would prepare for a celebration before a judgment unless they believed they already knew the outcome. Wike said that despite the celebrations, Bode George was convicted by the court

In Wike’s words: “When Bode was charged for corruption in Lagos State High Court, the day of the judgment Bode sewed uniforms for his people. They were dancing. How would you have gone to sew uniforms if you did not know the outcome of the judgment? Unfortunately for him he got there and he was convicted..See_More
