Iranian lawmaker Ebrahim Rezaei issued a strong warning on Saturday regarding potential widespread retaliation throughout the region if the United States decides to target Iran’s energy infrastructure.
According to a report by Iran International on August 1, 2026, he declared that if Iran faces any strike, the country would respond by sending the entire region and its key facilities back to the Stone Age.
Rezaei stressed that it would be in the interest of the United States not to pursue any foolish actions that could escalate tensions dramatically.
