Oyo: I Wanted To Seek Transfer From That School But Those 2 Teachers Killed Begged Me Not To -Victim

Mr. Olatunde Zacchaeus, a teacher who was among the victims of the Oriire school abduction in Oyo State, has spoken about the two teachers who were killed in captivity

In an interview with Nigeria Info FM, Zacchaeus said he was deeply saddened by the death of the two teachers. He stated that he met both of them when he started working at the school six years ago. He added that when he once wanted to seek a transfer from the school, the two teachers persuaded him to stay.

Zacchaeus said the two men were the only mathematics teachers in the school and were also his close friends.

In Zacchaeus’ words: “I thank God that I and some other teachers, including students and pupils are back. I thank God for answering the prayers of everyone who prayed for us. But those two teachers they killed, I met them in that school.
