Daniel Bwala, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Policy Communication has taken to his official X account on Saturday, July 11, 2026 to react to what Peter Obi told Minister of Works, Dave Umahi.
In the video that surfaced online, the former governor of Anambra state told Dave Umahi that he can not debate with him because he’s not a presidential candidate.
According to Peter Obi;
“So, the debate is closed. If he’s inviting me for a debate, he has to go and become the presidential candidate first”.
Reacting, Daniel Bwala criticized Peter Obi for the comment that he made. He said the former governor of Anambra state has never participated in a presidential primary election.
