APC chieftain Daniel Bwala has revealed that he is pursuing legal action in England over his appearance on Al Jazeera’s Head to Head, maintaining that he was ambushed during the interview hosted by, Mehdi Hasan and subjected to unfair criticism.
Speaking during an interview on The Morayo Afolabi-Brown Show, on Wednesday, 8 July, 2026, Bwala revisited the controversial Head to Head interview, which attracted widespread attention and criticism.
He alleged that after the programme aired, members of the production team privately admitted that the interview had not been handled fairly, but refused to make their apology public.
Describing what transpired after the interview, Bwala said: “We are in court in England. They apologized to me privately and I said they should put it on social media. They said they will not put it on social media that it will affect their credibility because it’s not just them but their mother programmers at the Aljazeera network.”
The APC chieftain said the matter is now before a court in England, insisting that he was ambushed during the interview rather than given a fair opportunity to present his views.
