Hakeem Baba Ahmed, former Special Adviser on Political Matters in the Office of Vice President Kashim Shettima, has stated that President Bola Tinubu has sidelined Shettima and denied him a bigger role in government
In an interview with AIT, Baba Ahmed said a vice president should do much more than simply representing the president at official events. He stated that he worked in the Vice President’s office and knows what he is talking about.
Baba Ahmed stated that Shettima is a brilliant person and if President Tinubu had allowed Shettima to fully utilize his capabilities, Nigeria would likely be facing fewer problems than it is today.
