Iran: Any Hostile Act Will Be Met With An Immediate, Decisive Response – Abbas Araghchi

According to a report by The Times of Israel on June 3, 2026, following reports that Iranian attacks on Kuwait caused damage to the airport infrastructure and injured dozens of people, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi justified Tehran’s recent military actions.

According to Araghchi’s X post, the Iranian military is launching what he called “self-defence strikes” against sites associated with US military operations in the area.

According to Iran, the targets included areas where the US is authorised to conduct certain activities, such as attacks on civilian ships and breaches of a current ceasefire agreement.
