Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Jibrin Samuel Okutepa has taken to his official X account on Thursday, May 28, 2026 to react to report that the governor of Abia state, Alex Otti has named the Umuahia Bus Terminal after Prof Nnenna Oti.
According to report, Prof Nnenna Oti was the returning officer who announced Alex Otti as the governor of Abia state during the 2023 governorship election.
Reacting, the Senior Advocate of Nigeria commended the governor of Abia state for naming the bus terminal after Nnenna Oti. He said Nnenna Oti demonstrated integrity during the 2023 governorship election in Abia state. Jibrin Samuel Okutepa said Nigeria will only be better if integrity becomes the guiding principle of public officers in Nigeria.
