There have been several reactions from the general public and particularly social media users after Bayo Onanuga, the senior special adviser on Information and Strategy shared the breakdown of how president Tinubu secured over ten million votes during the recently concluded APC primary elections.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle on Monday May 25th, 2026 it was deduced that president Tinubu won unchallenged in almost all the thirty six states of the country, including the federal capital territory, Abuja.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, it can be recalled, was on the spotlight after he emerged as the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC after triumphing in his Ikoyi/Obalende ward in Lagos State.
During the voting exercise in Lagos State, a mammoth crowd was spotted supporting the president, a scene which triggered massive reactions across different social media platforms.
Bayo Onanuga, in the statements which were published on his official X handle, pointed out that the support cut across different parts of the country, particularly in Lagos State where he secured an impressive eight hundred and fourteen thousand, nine hundred and eight eight votes.
