Lauretta Onochie, a Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC and former presidential aide has voiced her displeasure over the comments of president Tinubu regarding her erstwhile boss, former president Muhammadu Buhari. According to the statements which were shared on her official X handle, she pointed out that president Tinubu had serious questions to answer.
President Bola Tinubu was recently on the spotlight after he made a remarkable comment regarding former president Muhammadu Buhari during a campaign rally in the federal capital territory, Abuja.
The president, while eulogizing his predecessor, pointed out that himself and the former president had several similar characteristics, even disclosing that both were in unison.
However, his assertions as expected, triggered massive public reactions, including from one of the prominent members of former president Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet, Lauretta Onochie.
The ADC Chieftain, in the recent statements which were published on her official X account on Monday April 20th, 2026 disagreed with president Tinubu’s assertions.
According to her statements, she pointed out that the leader of the current APC administration should be questioned on why he destroyed the programmes being handled by the previous administration.
She further pointed out that the comments from President Tinubu were an insult on the former president, arguing that former president Muhammadu Buhari’s administration performed better.
Lauretta Onochie, widely admired for her outspokenness, in the lengthy message, outlined the several policies proposed by the previous administration that was abandoned by president Tinubu.
