During an interview on Trust TV, Ibrahim Abdulkarim, a political associate of Peter Obi, spoke about past political calculations and alliances ahead of previous elections.
Abdulkarim discussed the decision-making process of key political figures, noting that candidates often rely on internal assessments and projections before entering races. He said Obi, in particular, has consistently maintained that he would not contest an election unless he was confident of a viable path to victory.
He also referenced Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, suggesting that political alignments might have been different if earlier projections had reflected the level of support Obi eventually received at the polls.
