Lieutenant General Abdulrahman Dambazau, former Chief of Army Staff, has stated that he was once encouraged by some people to carry out a coup and become Head of State during the time when the late President Musa Yar’Adua was ill and unable to perform his duties
In an interview with NTA, General Dambazau said if he had intention of becoming Head of State he could have easily seized power during the period when Yar’Adua was ill or when he died
